Katrina Kaif gives new meaning to the term ‘wardrobe malfunction.’ Her saree did an astonishing shrinking act when she stayed out in the rain for too long while shooting a sensuous song for Bollywood movie De Dana Dan. The saree ended at her knees, falling way short of its intended length, leaving Katrina’s legs exposed.
Poor Priyadarshan had trouble shooting the entire sequence with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in long shot at Mehboob Studios in Bandra. Midway through the shoot, the saree had shrunk so much, that a better part of Katrina’s legs were visible. As a solution, Priyadarshan and choreographer Pony Verma decided that close-ups were the solution to this unusual problem.
“The song was in slow motion and the movements were very sexy, so both of them decided to do away with long and wide angles,” a source informed. Confirming the incident, choreographer Pony Verma said, “Yes, a costume error happened with Katrina’s saree. Therefore, we shot mostly close-ups. At the end of the day, the result was far better than we had imagined it.”
Was Katrina Kaif upset about being a victim of wardrobe malfunction? Katrina replied, “It’s okay. It was just one of those things which happen during shoots.”
