Mallika Sherawat is bold but not enough to bare her butt to camera. So when it came to shooting a scene for her movie Hissss in which her character of a Naagin who transforms into a woman needed to be shown with nude derriere, a body double was called in.According to Mallika’s brother, who is also the co-producer of the film, the decision to use the duplicate was taken by director Jennifer Lynch.
Since the actress’s character is shown baring her butt a couple of times in the film, the director apparently thought it better to rope in a body double rather than the actress dropping her clothes.
Now, it remains to be seen whether these nude scenes will clear the Censor hurdle.
Irrfan Khan, who is Mallika’s co-actor in the film, has said in a media report that the Censor Board should rate ‘Hisss’ from a different standard. Not just Mallika, even he has a lovemaking scene with Divya Dutta in the movie. However, there’s no nudity in that scene.
