Naomi Campbell will be honoured for her charity work in New York City next week.The supermodel is to be a guest of honour at the 2011 Angel Ball fundraising gala at Cipriani Wall Street on October 17.Singer Patti LaBelle and Survivor and The Amazing Race star Ethan Zohn are among those who will pay tribute to Campbell.Chic's Nile Rodgers and The Voice winner Javier Colon will perform during the dinner.Proceeds from the Angel Ball will help fund cancer research.Campbell has supported numerous charities, including the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.The star recently compared drug use to an allergy, explaining that it took her many years to fully understand the damage that substance abuse can cause.
