'Dhoom 3' release delayed till 2013

MUMBAI: Superstar Aamir Khan has delayed the release of his next movie Dhoom 3, which was earlier scheduled to hit the screens during Christmas in 2012. Now, the much-anticipated Bollywood film will grace the theatres in 2013.

According to reports, Salman requested Amir to delay the release so that it should not clash with Salman's Dabangg 2.

Dhoom 3 is being produced under the banner Yash Raj Films. Aamir Khan is playing a negative character, while Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles like Jai and Ali. Katrina Kaif will star opposite Aamir Khan.

Earlier, Salman had also honored Aamir’s request to postpone his film 'Ek Tha Tiger' so that it does not clash with Amir's 'Dhuan'.
