Britney Spears's ex-manager Sam Lufti has asked a judge to order the star to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, according to reports.
Lufti is currently pursuing legal action against Spears's mother Lynne, after she accused him of manipulating her daughter by secretly drugging the star and cutting off her communications.
Lynne made the allegations in her memoirs, to which Lufti immediately denied the claims and contacted his legal team, reports Billboard.
The manager is now seeking to have Britney give a deposition in court, but the star's parents are appealing against the request, stating that the singer is mentally incapable of testifying.
Using recent interview footage and an announced US tour as evidence that Britney Spears isn't mentally incapable to appear in court, Lufti has now demanded that the 29-year-old undergo a psychiatric examination to prove Mr and Mrs Spears's claims wrong.
