Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug has married her attorney boyfriend in Tucson, according to People.
The gold medalist, who performed while injured during the 1996 games in Atlanta, tied the knot with Robert Fischer in her Arizona hometown yesterday.
"Robert always wants to make me happy. He's a little old-fashioned. He really courted me, and for a while. To this day, he still gives me flowers on a regular basis," she said.
She reportedly wore a Pronovias dress customised with more than 5,000 Swarovski crystals.
Strug and Fischer, who met through mutual friends, celebrated their nuptials at the Skyline Country Club with around 200 guests, including gymnast Dominique Moceanu and coach Bela Karolyi.
