Taylor Swift Remains Unbeatable At Top Of Billboard Hot 200

American country singer Taylor Swift maintains her top position even this week when the sale has been at its record breaking slow rate. Her album 'Speak Now' still maintains the leading status with a sale of 52,000 copies.

There has been a huge decrease of 32pc in sales figure this week. But Taylor Swift continues to rule the top position for the sixth non-consecutive week at the Billboard Hot 200 this week. Among the 2010 U.S. highest-selling albums, the country music became third by adding 52000 copies.

In the Nielsen SoundScan history, 'Speak Now' has become the lowest selling album ever at No. 1. Earlier, this record was in the name of 'Dreamgirls' track in January, 2007. It took the top spot with a sales figure slightly more than 60,000 units.

Nicki Minaj follows the second spot rising from No. 4 position with her 'Pink Friday', which sold 39,000 copies. Bruno Mars was also benefited with this slow week and rose to No. 3 from No. 7 position by selling 38,000 copies of 'Doo- Wops and Hooligans'.

Daft Punk' soundtrack in 'Tron Legacy' has jumped to No. 4 while Eminem's 'Recovery' has slipped to No. 5 from No. 2 position by selling 33,000 copies.
