Katrina Kaif is reported to have turned down a signficant amount of money to perform at a New Year's Eve stage show.The Tees Maar Khan actress has said that her personal life is more important than working that night, Mid Day reports.The former model denied rumours that she would be performing at a suburban Mumbai hotel: "Are you crazy? I am not dancing at any hotel on New Year's Eve. To be entertaining a live audience that night instead of enjoying oneself as another year slips in. "How sad is that? It's almost like you are telling the audience, 'Hey guys, I don't have a life'." Kaif has won acclaim for her song 'Sheela Ki Jawaani' from current film Tees Maar Khan.The Farah Khan-directed project has taken a substantial box office opening, in spite of its mixed critical reception.
