The first showing of new Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark was plagued by a number of technical problems which resulted in the production having to be stopped on five separate occasions.The preview performance was attended by an audience of almost 2000, but issues with the show's high-wire stunts caused delays and led to an impromptu intermission having to be called at one point."I don't know how everyone else feels, but I feel like a guinea pig today," one audience member shouted, according to THR. "I feel like it's a dress rehearsal!"The musical has become the most expensive stage production ever, costing around $65 million to make.Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark is scheduled to make its official Broadway premiere at the Foxwoods Theatre on January 11, 2011 .
